The reason you received this is we are in the process of synchronizing our contact database with our new support and knowledge base system. When your account was synchronized over we forgot to disable the welcome notification for you. (Oops)
You can either disregard this email or activate your account (whichever you prefer). When you log into the system you will only see support tickets created over the past 30 days. Previous tickets are being migrated and should be completely combined by the end of the year.
